Here is the wedding shoot that I’m very excited to showcase, because Lauren and Emil and just sooo cute and also because it’s my second wedding in Israel!!! If you want to see their engagement shoot that I shot a few months back when it was still warm, feel free to do so!
Emil waits nervously in the bridal gown store, as Lauren prepares behind the scenes.
Here Emil is about to turn around, see Lauren, and maybe get a little bit emotional. (I’ll keep that between me and the couple : )
On an unrelated note, the dress shop lady was trying to get me to take the photos inside (think yellow spot lighting), but the amazing diffused daylight just kept on pulling me in the other direction.
So happy to see her.
Cute doggie belonging to Emil’s family.
Lauren and Emil seem to have one of those bonds that gives you goosebumps. They met in Yiddish class and have been speaking Yiddish together ever since.
Lauren is a serious polyglot (as in, I can’t even remember all the languages she speaks). She has recently added Romanian (because of Emil) to the mix, in which she was conversing with his family during the wedding. Like, wow.
Our wedding walk was around Basel in Tel Aviv, which has the nicest urband backdrop. Tel Aviv is just a really cute city.
We walked.
… And then walked some more. (Notice the amazing diffused lighting that doesn’t create any harsh shadows on their faces).
We stumbled upon a bookshop and that’s when Lauren and Emil seemed to really light up. Love playing with window reflections.
Love Hurts! (It actually seems to be very pleasant when you look at Lauren and Emil). And a book in Yiddish.
Basel square!
A great big hug after the ceremony is over.
The dreaded chairs!
The dancing was super fun and the music was awesome.
Some time in the middle of the wedding Lauren put on a really cool side net thing. I’m very into those things, although I don’t really know what they are called.
Yay. : )
