Another gorgeous bride and groom, whose wedding I couldn’t wait to shoot. Anna has such a classic beauty that makes photos look like photojournalistic video stills when she is in them.

Makeup. The wedding was held at the Kaaterskill Inn in Catskill, New York. The place is so gorgeously quaint. I thought it matched Anna and Jed’s style perfectly.
Anna and Jed met at a dinner event of some sort about 5 years ago. Anna… Jed? Did I get it right?
Flower girls going down the stairs. I asked them where they were going to get their attention and get them look up. I never tell people to smile. The last thing I want to do is elicit fake smiles, especially from kids.
Groomsmen. Funny, goofy, and happy bunch of “chaps”. I feel the need to use “chaps”… maybe because they had a slightly British vibe about them?
The Kaaterskill Inn from the other side of the little pond that was in the middle of the property.
A bridesmaid helping the flower girl. The bridesmaids were dressed in different shades and styles of yellow dresses which looked SO pretty. Loved it.
For this wedding I brought one of my favorite lenses.. the fisheye. Scroll down for more fisheye pictures!
The vows were written by the bride and groom. They were really warm and cute.
I love the shots of newlyweds walking away from the altar. I think at this moment they are the most happy and I am the least noticed, which is what it’s all about.
Fisheye! What I did know about shooting a wedding in Catskill NY was that the views would be absolutely stunning. What I didn’t know is that I would freeze to near death and be sick for the next week. Photographers… pack your sweaters before going anywhere. Even in the summer. Serious.
Anna checking out her hand with the new ring right after the ceremony.
Ummm.. some game that I should know the name of but don’t. Anyway, I liked how the sticks were scattered in this perfect mess.
Even the bathrooms were cute at this place.
Bands and string lights really go together… like tahini and lemon juice.
Jed’s brother dancing with HIS new wife. (I believe their wedding was a mere 3 weeks before Jed and Anna’s).
I don’t think the children ate much. At least I saw them playing throughout pretty much the whole course of the wedding.
THE…. I mean THE cutest party gifts I’ve ever seen. Maybe because I just love plants.
And as always… please don’t forget to visit the more complete music slideshow. It has one of their favorite singers as the background music and everything : )
