I have been literally dying to post this wedding. Finally, here it is. Meet the gorgeous couple. The bride is amidst her preparations in a hotel suite where her sisters, bridesmaids, and her future trying-not-to-cry future mother-in-law are also getting ready.
Feel free to view my wedding gallery here.
The shoe shot. I’m very excited about the chair pattern.
The minimalism and clean lines of this photojournalistic moment remind me of something out of a classical Russian novel, maybe a Dostoyevsky one.
Dostoyevsky in color : )
This gorgeous lighting, was natural and believe it or not, right near the elevators near the bridal suite.
The first look. I used the cool thick glass as a minimalistic backdrop with a touch of texture.
The groomsmen. I like to kind of throw them around casually in the shot. Most of the time they are into it. Then I slightly make prod them until they are interacting. I love capturing natural moments (rather those that are frozen, waiting for the shutter to click). As I always say, you don’t need much for an awesome background. Here I’m using a snippet of the wall in Revere Hotel that is made of little rectangular sheets of metal. Blur that a little and you are golden : )
I just love how my 85mm lens puts everyone at ease. Let me clarify. They are at ease because they don’t know that I’m shooting them : )
Purple is the color. The ceremony and reception was held at the gorgeous Venezia, on 20 Ericsson Street in Boston,
And we arrive to the part of the wedding that makes me scream with excitement (on the inside). This little gazebo is RIGHT outside the Venezia, making it oh-so-easy for the photographer.
The time is perfect – right before sunset. This part took about 15 minutes, as the newlyweds had to rush back to their guests.
Looove the embroidery on her wedding gown.
