This was a fashion shoot I did for a boutique bridal store in New Jersey called Aleana’s Bridal. It was inspirational and we definitely had a lot of fun. This first lovely model was Jesse, who actually functions as a fitting model for a few different brands.
The second model was Asta, who came to New York from Lithuania for modeling. Asta recently signed with a modeling agency (which is huge) and did a shoot for Abercombie & Fitch the day after our shoot!
The shoot was held inside the store, and I just couldn’t help but throw in fun items, like a bra, and in one take, even a fire extinguisher!
The lovely models together. I used a 29 inch beauty dish along with my very new battery-powered strobe. The beauty dish was more difficult to use on two people.
Love Masha’s smirk on the right. Masha is the fitting model for the bridal gown store.
Item magic. The store was filled with sewing equipment and mannequins, which we would throw and dress up in the background. This added some texture to the images. Although I love the fuchsia wall, I was not as crazy about how the molding interrupted the picture. I think that the next shoot will definitely employ some serious backdrops.
Happy Friday! ; )
