Spring.

I was amazed at the planning of the wedding… how so many different colors and themes came together in this amazing cacophony to create something so tastefully beautiful.

Hit me up ONE last time (OK… maybe not the very last).

There was a record/cassette theme going on. The guest place cards were taped to cassettes!

The children were given goody bags with fun props and toys.

We were lucky enough to have Ronit’s makeup done by the amazing Sara Rutstein, a Make-Up artist from London (her website is www.make-upbysara.com). She lives in Tel Aviv and is available for weddings & special occasions.

I was excited by the unexpected juxtaposition of the messy and alive Florentine as the backdrop and Ronit’s flamboyant flamenco outfit and accessories.

Some of these shots had a slow shutter speed so that I could show the motion of her dress by blurring it slightly. I had asked her to try to keep her face still, because I wanted to show the intensity of her glance through sharpness.

The black garage door did wonders in this series of shots.

Florentine was really fun to play around. Unfortunately, due to Israel’s harsh sun (and me liking soft, diffused natural lighting) we only had about an hour to work with, right around sunset.

Some more Florentine action! I love running through the street shots. Because Ronit has such good posture, I actually asked her to run in a relaxed way where she is almost slouched.

I really enjoy shooting dancers because they are so graceful with their bodies and know exactly what to do.

Love the ties! I actually increased the saturation just for the ties so that they pop out.

David was a past photography client of mine, and I was thrilled when he reached out to me again, this time, for a corporate shoot.

She’s at a pretty amazing level. My shutter speed for this image is 1/250 sec and as you can see, the ball is still slightly blurred, which tells you there was some definite speed.

Here she is with her coach and mom (who hates being in photos and will kill me as soon as she sees). Being silly is one of her favorite hobbies and I LOOOOOOVE being silly together with her.

Long Island City. The rain and fog helped with making the background a little smooth, not to mention people-free.

I feel that the candid images are usually the ones that are capable of being the most sophisticated and artistic.
